Manchester United and Tottenham have been handed a major transfer boost in their pursuit of Bordeaux winger Malcom… as the Brazilian starts learning English.
German giants Borussia Dortmund recently joined the race to land the youngster, but Malcom himself has opted to learn English.
United are still in pole position to sign the talented winger – with Bordeaux valuing him at a staggering £45million.
And Jose Mourinho and Co will be thrilled to see Malcom has started learning beginner’s English.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, the Brazilian posted images of him working hard on his languages skills.
He captioned the post “Allez”, while translating it himself to “Come on”.
Earlier this week, Bordeaux boss Jocelyn Gourvennec all-but admitted defeat inn his bid to keep the young Brazilian at the club.
Gourvennec revealed: “I build for the next stage with Malcom.

Malcom has been in fine form for Bordeaux so far this season, scoring seven times in 18 Ligue 1 appearances.
Prior to joining the French club in 2016, Malcom had spent his entire career at Corinthians, kicking-off his youth career in Brazil in 2008.
He made 51 first-team appearances in the league, scoring seven times and has gone on to earn two caps for Brazil’s Under-23s.
