Coventry hosted Stoke in the FA Cup today but clearly there was a misunderstanding.
Stoke turned up ready for a football match only to be greeted by a beach volleyball pitch.
Honestly, have a look at this.

A classic League Two carpet with a healthy mixture of 25% grass, 74% sand and 1% dog s***.
But with Stoke in town we’re not sure who stood to gain more from the dodgy surface.
Coventry took the lead through former England Under-19 international Jordan Willis to heap more misery on Mark Hughes.
However the only thing anyone was talking about was the pitch.
So was it a masterstroke from the Coventry groundsman? Not quite.
The pitch at the Ricoh Arena is used by rugby side London Wasps as well as Coventry.
So when League Two’s finest aren’t trudging around on it there are 20 stone rugby players tearing it to pieces.
That ought to do it. To be fair, by Sunday League standards the Coventry pitch is a carpet.
