JUVENTUS are expected to make one last bid to land Liverpool midfielder Emre Can this month.
But the Reds are unlikely to let him go.
The 23-year-old midfielder has entered the final six months of his contract and has been in talks with Juventus over joining them next summer on a free transfer.
But Juve really want him now and will pursue that aim.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is hopeful the German will sign another deal to stay at Anfield beyond this season.
Klopp won’t pressurise the player, saying “we have to respect his contract is ending and that’s how it is”.

Can joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 for £10million and has made 154 appearances, scoring 16 goals.
It has been claimed that agreement had been reached with Juventus ready to pay the player over contract worth £3.1m to £3.5m per season.
That does not now appear to be the case.
But that won’t stop the Serie A giants making one last effort in the coming weeks.
