It’s a surprise to see a Leicester player at the top of any rankings for Europe’s top five leagues.
Especially as it isn’t 2016 anymore.
But if there is one player you would pick out as a breakthrough star for the Foxes it would have to be Wilfred Ndidi.
Following Danny Drinkwater’s departure to Chelsea in the summer 21-year-old Ndidi was given the chance to impress in the centre of the park.
And he is already paying back the £17million Leicester forked out for his services the previous January.
Not only has he been a vital cog in the team under Claude Puel, acting as a pivot from defence into attack, he has also completed the most tackles out of Europe’s top five leagues this season.
The Nigerian U-20 international has completed more successful tackles than anyone else in Europe’s best leagues.
Not only that but he has completed 18 more than Everton’s Idrissa Gueye who is second.
Another Premier League representative in Huddersfield’s Aaron Mooy makes up the top three.
He has been dribbled past 57 times but on the whole he has been a revelation in midfield for Leicester.

The other notable inclusion in the list is the N’Golo Kante, another title winner with the Foxes, who hasn’t stopped running since 2015.
He comes in ninth on the list with 61 completed tackles this season.
It must be something about players with five letters or less in their surnames.
