Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly held talks with Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal about a summer transfer.
The 30-year-old will be likely heading out the Allianz Arena door in the near future as Leon Goretzka closes in a switch to join the Bundesliga giants.
According to Chilean news outlet La Cuarta, the Italian manger has spoke with the midfielder on the phone about a move to Stamford Bridge, declaring England would be the best place for him.

Conte has made no secret of his admiration of Vidal, recently claiming “he’d go to war’ with him.
The duo spent three seasons together at Juventus between 2011-2014, where the Old Lady won consecutive Serie A titles.

German newspaper Bild have also claimed that Conte has approached Vidal over a possible switch to reunite with him in West London.
The two-time Copa America winner knows he can up his salary from £6.6million-a-year, to well over £13m.
And journalist Manuel Veth took to Twitter that Goretzka’s likely arrival at Bayern will leave Vidal free to join Chelsea.
He said: “Goretzka to Bayern would also explain Arturo Vidal’s link to Chelsea.
“From what I understand it is likely the Chilean will be re-united with Conte next summer if/when the Goretzka deal goes through.”
Vidal, who has just 18 months left to run on his current Bayern deal, has started 11 out of 17 top-flight matches this term.
But despite being in and out of the starting XI, the ex-Bayer Leverkusen ace has managed to bang in five goals, as well as registering two assists.
