Here’s a new one…
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pull the plug on a January move for Timo Werner due to concerns over his EARS.
Spanish newspaper Marca claim the RB Leipzig forward is a target for Zinedine Zidane as he looks to provide competition for the under-performing Karim Benzema.
Werner has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season and also looks nailed on for a place in Germany’s World Cup squad.
However, the report adds that the La Liga champions may hold off after Werner fell ill during a Champions League match against Besiktas in September.
The 21-year-old was forced off with just 30 minutes on the clock after feeling dizzy due to the high levels of noise in the Turkish team’s stadium.
Werner was seen trying to block the sound with his fingers before being given ear plugs by a Leipzig coach.

It’s believed Werner also suffered circulation and breathing problems as a result, and has been wearing the ear plugs ever since.
Unfortunately for the youngster, that could end his chances of securing a move to the Santiago Bernabeu next month.
However, Werner may not be too concerned after revealing his “dream club” is Man United.
The ace said: “As a young boy, you always dream of the big club you’d like to play for.
“It used to be Manchester United under Alex Ferguson, who always won. A young boy is always a fan of those who win.
“You can’t just drop something like that. When it’s going well, you dream of playing somewhere else.”
