Alright, so we’re a little bit obsessed with Football Manager 2018 here at Dream Team.
And who can blame us?
The game gives us a chance to take charge of our favourite club and lead them to glory, all from the comfort of our living room.
There’s none of that hanging around in the cold, or getting paid millions for the pleasure of it.
But it looks like the guys over at PSV have taken their love for FM to a whole new level, by utilising the popular PC game to announce their latest signing.
The Eredivisie giants have used a video of the game posted on their Twitter account to unveil the addition of young forward Maximiliano Romero from Velez Sarsfield.
Take a look.
Judging from the video, the striker will join PSV in the summer of 2018 in a deal worth £2.2 million.
His contract will run until June 2023, earning him over over €9,000-a-week plus a signing on fee of €267,000.
According to reports in Holland, the Eindhoven-based club beat Borussia Dortmund to the signing of the 18-year-old, with Arsenal also previously linked with him.
PSV boss Phillip Cocu said: “We have seen him in action several times and we think that he, as a number nine, has the ability to be a genuine goal threat in the Eredivisie.
“He is a physically strong, clinical striker and is comfortable dribbling and shooting with both feet.
“He has great potential and we couldn’t waste the golden opportunity to sign him.”
Ah, spoken like a true fan of the game.
