CHELSEA have had a £22 million bid for Bayer Leverkusen starlet Leon Bailey rejected, according to reports.

The Jamaican winger has also attracted interest from Liverpool and Barcelona, while Manchester United were also linked earlier this year.
According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions sent scouts to watch Bailey in Bayer’s 2-0 win over Stuttgart on Friday.

The report claims the Blues have made an offer but Leverkusen are reluctant to sell the youngster.
The former Genk winger has been in impressive form for the Bundesliga club this season with four goals and four assists in 12 appearances.
Bailey is rated as one of the quickest players in the Bundesliga and has a contract at Leverkusen until 2022.

Sunsport revealed that Antonio Conte’s men are understood to be willing to loan him back to his current club immediately in return for completing a deal next month.
The Jamaica international is seen as someone with the potential to replace Willian and provide cover for Eden Hazard.
Bailey is an out and out winger, who is most regularly found on Leverkusen’s right flank and his pace would add another dimension to the Blues’ attack.
