ARSENAL have landed Sevilla central midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to foreign reports.
El Gol Digital claims the two clubs have agreed a deal that will see the Gunners pay the La Liga side more than £35million in January.
The deal will apparently be made up of a £32.7m down payment and £2.6m in bonuses.
The 28-year-old former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City player has fallen out of favour at Sevilla following a row with the management.
N’Zonzi, who stands 6ft 3ins, was upset at his half-time substitution against Liverpool in the Champions League last month.
He is known to be keen to return to the Premier League and could be the big midfield enforcer Arsenal have been looking for since the days of Patrick Vieira and Emmanuel Petit.

N’Zonzi recently told France Football: “My future is somewhere else. We just have to wait until December is over and everything will be done.
“I hope Sevilla qualify in the Champions League and have good luck in the future, but I will not be part of that adventure.
“What hurts is the way everything is going to end. It hurts, of course, but for now the team is functioning.

“There’s only a short time left, just December to pass, and it’s better that my time at Sevilla stops then.”
N’Zonzi joined Sevilla from Stoke in 2015 in a £7 million deal, and he has largely been successful in Spain.
