Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed no one is better than him after winning his fifth Ballon d’Or.
The Real Madrid superstar made the boast despite his latest award only bringing him level with arch rival Lionel Messi.
The two have shared the crown since 2008.
Speaking to France Football, the typically understated Portuguese said: “I don’t see anyone better than me.
“No player does things that I cannot do myself, but I see things others can’t do.
“There’s no more complete player than me.
“I’m the best player in history – in the good and the bad moments.”
Ronaldo was joined by girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Jr in Paris last night.
He lifted his fifth Golden Ball atop the Eiffel Tower in a lavish ceremony.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar also made the top three, with Messi coming second.
The award caps off what has been a memorable year for the former Manchester United man.
On the pitch, he helped Madrid to win La Liga and retain the Champions League.
Meanwhile, away from the turf he became a father again on June 8 when he welcomed little girl-boy twins named Eva Maria and Mateo into the world.
And then Rodriguez gave birth to little girl Alana Martina on November 12.
