Gareth Southgate's side will face Tunisia, Panama and Belgium in next year's tournament

It’s time to get excited people.

The draw for the 2018 World Cup in Russia has been made, with England being handed a rather favourable group.

There are, of course, no easy games in the World Cup, but it could have been a lot, lot worse.

Gareth Southgate’s side will open the tournament against Tunisia, before facing Panama and Belgium in their final group game.

Germany are the current holders of the famous trophy having won in extra-time against Argentina in 2014.

The Three Lions breezed through their qualifying group but were put in Pot 2 due to their FIFA world ranking slipping to 12th.

England will be playing on the Monday 18th June against Tunisia, Sunday 24th June against Panama and Thursday 28th June, where they will face Belgium.
