LATE?

Arsenal’s 92nd minute winner against Burnley was early compared to previous two meetings

Arsenal's last three games against Burnley have been won by goals scored after 90 minutes

As it happens they’ve won zero points from a possible nine against Arsene Wenger’s side.

Back in January it was a similar story.

Andre Gray’s late goal looked like rescuing a point after Shkodran Mustafi opened the scoring.

But Sanchez netted a 98th minute penalty to secure three points for Arsenal.

And in the previous meeting at Turf Moor it took a 93rd minute goal from Lauren Koscielny for Arsenal to win.

So, compared to the last two games, Arsenal’s winner actually came quite early today.

We don’t even want to think about how gravely Sean Dyche’s voice is going to be after this latest defeat.
