ARSENE WENGER wants Giovanni van Bronckhorst to replace him as Arsenal manager, according to reports.
The Gunners chief could leave after almost 23 years at the club at the end of next season when his contract expires.
And the Daily Star claim Wenger sees former Arsenal star Van Bronckhorst, 42, as a top candidate to replace him.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is also on the list but Wenger admires Van Bronkhorst for his work under a tight budget with Feyenoord.

And Van Bronkhorst feels the same about Wenger and the Gunners board are reportedly equally as keen to bring the Dutchman back to North London.
Van Bronckhorst spent two successful seasons under Wenger and won the Prem title and FA Cup.
He then left for Barcelona where he won two La Liga titles and a Champions League.

He has coached Feyenoord since 2015 and led them two their first league title in 18 years in his second season in charge.
