Will Ferrell, of legendary Anchorman fame, has been called in to predict this weekend’s Premier League games for the BBC.
As you may have guessed the American, who has been to Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea games in the last year, has made some bold predictions.
Little known Ferrell fact – he is the co-owner of the MLS’ newest franchise Los Angeles FC.
They recently appointed Swansea flop Bob Bradley as manager so questions could be asked about management decisions there.
The American comedian has faced off against the BBC’s in-house score-predicting machine Mark Lawrenson in this week’s Premier League Predictions.
The standout selection has to be Man United 0- 10 Newcastle. That is wacky, even for Ferrell.
However, running a close second is his prediction that stingy Burnley and low-scoring Swansea will share 10 goals in a 5-5 draw.
Here’s what he chose:
Arsenal 1-2 Spurs
Bournemouth 1-0 Huddersfield
Burnley 5-5 Swansea
Crystal 2-0 Everton
Leicester 1-0 Man City
Liverpool 3-0 Southampton
West Brom 0-2 Chelsea
Man United 0-10 Newcastle
Watford 0-0 West Ham
Brighton 1-3 Stoke City
Other than the two standout calls it looks like Ferrell actually knows his onions.
