After all these years you can still rely on Ronaldinho for moments of magic.
The Brazilian legend’s latest act of brilliance involved lighting up a legends game in Mexico with a stunning volley from 40 yards out.
Enjoy it here…
The 37-year-old World Cup winner was playing against former team-mate and Barcelona hero Carles Puyol.
The 2005 Ballon d’Or winner was representing ‘Stars of America’ while Puyol marshalled the defence for ‘Stars of Europe’.
The shaggy-haired defender could only watch on as Ronaldinho sweetly struck home his long-range effort.
The goal was 62nd minute equaliser.
But the magic didn’t end there.
In the 74th minute he picked up the ball, evaded two challenges and delicately lofted the ball over the defence into the path of his team-mate who volleyed home to equalise once more.
His team went onto win the match 5-4.
After the game, Ronaldinho shared a photo of himself and Puyol on Instagram alongside the caption: “Always good to meet you my friend!”
