These lips of mine, they’ve said too much.
Oliver Bierhoff, who you might remember as the bullet header-loving no.9, was talking to the press in his duties as Germany’s general manager.
While most of the talk was about Germany’s ‘worry’ over England’s dominance at youth level, there was an interesting line at the end which was quoted in The Guardian.

Bierhoff said: “Because of the amount of money you have with TV rights, young talented players like Leroy Sané and Leon Goretzka are moving to England and this is not good for our league but also for the quality of our game.”
Did you spot his slip of the tongue?
Bierhoff might have accidentally leaked a transfer line two months before the January window opens for business.
Goretzka, the player Bierhoff mentions alongside Sane, is currently playing for Bundesliga side Schalke.
The 22-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer, has been heavily linked with Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea although reports in Spain indicated that he’d agreed a deal with Barcelona.
However Bierhoff’s comments appear to show that Goretzka will be moving to England when his contract his up.
It would be a major coup for any Premier League club to beat Barcelona, as well as Bayern Munich, to his signature.
Goretzka has scored four times in nine Bundesliga games this season while also netting six goals in 12 caps for Germany.
