ARSENAL will have no problem landing Arda Turan in 2018 after Barcelona made it clear they want the midfielder out.
The Gunners are already down in sixth after a 3-1 loss to Manchester City on Sunday and look – as usual – in need of reinforcements.
And the only thing in their way of signing the Nou Camp flop is interest from former club Galatasaray in his Turkish home.
Turan moved to Catalonia from Atletico Madrid in July 2015 – for around £30million – but could not make his debut until January 2016 when their transfer ban expired.
But that wait has not seemed worth it as he has struggled with form and hamstring injuries ever since but is sitting pretty on a contract until 2020.
The unfancied 30-year-old has started just 23 league games for Barcelona and been subbed off in 11 of those.
This season he has made the bench just once in La Liga and was stuck for 90 minutes at home against Real Betis.
Last season Turan scored two hat-tricks in a dreamy December and that looked like kick-starting his Barca career but it has tanked dramatically again.

The Gunners tried to land the playmaker in the summer, according to Turkey boss Mircea Lucescu, and they’ll have a second chance in January or the summer.
Lucescu said: “Arsenal made Arda an offer
“Arda was on the verge of joining Arsenal this summer but it did not go through.
“Galatasaray wanted him but it did not happen, same with Monaco.
“Arda is going through a tough time.”
