Chelsea youngster Kenedy is beginning to make a name for himself – for all of the wrong reasons.
You may remember the Brazilian kid hitting the headlines during the Blues’ summer tour, after posting a series of unsavoury comments on social media about the Chinese.
And now he’s very much in manager Antonio Conte’s bad books, for yawning during a team meeting following the club’s embarrassing defeat to Roma in the Champions League.
According to the Telegraph, Conte was furious with his team’s performance in the game – which the Premier League champions lost 3-0.
It seems barely anybody escaped the Italian’s wrath during the post-game dressing down, with Kenedy – an unused substitute in the game – reportedly receiving a stern lecture from the gaffer after being caught yawning during the meeting at the club’s Cobham training ground.
C’mon Kenedy, pick your moments son.
This follows recent reports that claim Conte is generally miffed by the attitudes of his players at the moment.
Defender David Luiz was was visibly sulky when he was substituted in the draw against Roma a fortnight ago, while Charly Musonda was ticked off for complaining about his lack of first-team opportunities on Instagram.
Conte was particularly scathing about his side’s defending during the defeat, which at times was embarrassing.
