Luke Shaw could leave Manchester United on loan in January, according to reports.
The England defender has fought his way back to fitness but is struggling to impress Jose Mourinho.
And The Gambling Times insists a short-term deal is on the cards if United can sign a new left-back.
United boss Mourinho has tried to give Shaw, 22, hope by suggesting a potential route back to regular first-team football.
He said: “He has a future here but the situation is not easy because he comes from injury after injury after injury.

“He needs two, three, four, five or six matches in a row to play, to make mistakes, to get condition, to get match fitness and I cannot give him that.
“If he was a central midfielder then yes, because we only have two but at left back we have so many options. So the situation is not easy.
“But he is in the squad, he works and maybe the opportunity comes.”
Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham worked with Shaw at Southampton and is reportedly keen on a move.
Danny Rose’s future is far from certain but Ben Davies has proved to be an able replacement while the England flier was out injured.
But Spurs would face plenty of competition from Prem clubs willing to take a gamble on a star with undoubted potential.
