The 2018 World Cup in Russia is just round the corner, and it’s high time we got properly excited for the tournament.
Aside from the security issues and the geopolitical troubles surrounding the 2018 competition, at some stage some football will break out, and that’s what gets our hearts pumping double-time.
The match ball for next year’s tournament has reportedly been leaked, with website Footy Headlines displaying what they are claiming is the match ball for the World Cup.

The Adidas Telstar has black and grey panels, giving it a slightly pixelated look.
It is supposedly a modern interpretation of the classic Telstar, which was used in the 1974 World Cup.
The 32-panel black and white ball became an instant hit, and is still recognised as one of the most archetypal footballs ever used.
