Arsenal fans reacted in a calm and fashionable matter to going behind against Norwich

Arsenal fans were predictably grumpy after Norwich went ahead in their EFL Cup tie

Arsenal. The gift that keeps on giving.

One minute they’re going to win the league, the next minute it’s all crisis in the red half of north London.

A EFL Cup tie against Championship side Norwich should have been easy sailing following on the back of the 5-2 destruction of Everton.

But this is Arsenal. Nothing is ever easy.

Arsene Wenger’s decision to rest several first-team players and field Matt Macey, Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles backfired when Norwich opened the scoring.

Josh Murphy was slid in by James Madison before chipping the onrushing Macey.

Cue pandemonium.

Domestic cups have been one of the few bright spots of the last few years at Arsenal.

Wenger’s side won the FA Cup in 2014, 2015 and 2017, the same years in which they lifted the Community Shield.

But Arsenal haven’t won a League Cup since 1993.

Whatever happens, you can guarantee that Arsenal Fan TV will respond in an equally sensible and calm fashion to Arsenal’s supporters.
