Kevin De Bruyne is reportedly close to signing a new contract with Manchester City – despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French club swooped for De Bruyne before the Belgian joined City for £54million from Wolfsburg in 2015.
Goal.com claim that PSG have told De Bruyne’s representatives that they would be prepared to make a huge offer if he was keen on a move to the French capital.
But De Bruyne is happy and has praised City’s “superb” project under Pep Guardiola.
De Bruyne’s agent last week spoke of how he believes the playmaker deserves to paid the same kind of money as Neymar – who is on £625,000 a week.
The 53-cap star is currently on £115,000 a week after until 2021 after penning a six-year deal when he joined City.
And his agent says that he wants City to stump up a figure around FIVE TIMES what De Bruyne currently earns when the thrash out a new deal.

Patrick De Koster said: “In the coming months, I’ll meet with City to figure out how to improve and extend his contract.
“His salary? I cannot say. But if you think what Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are being paid, you can picture.”
De Bruyne has contributed two goals and 11 assists so far this season.
And after netting seven against Stoke, it leaves City on course for an incredible 137 Prem goals this season.
After last month’s 5-0 rout of Palace, De Bruyne said: “I am very happy at City.
“Everything is going well for me. I have no reason to go anywhere else. The project City have is superb, so it’s best for me.
“They have spoken with Patrick in the summer and said ‘give us time to make the transfers and we speak after the summer’.
