Managers, team captains and the media of footballing nations ranked three names each for the Men's Players of the Year award

As expected, Cristtiano Ronaldo was crowned the best male player in the world by the FIFA the Best awards last night.

Lionel Messi and Neymar finished second and third respectively in a controversy-free podium.

Managers, team captains and the media of footballing nations ranked three names each for the Men’s Players of the Year gong.

Players voted first received five points, three points and one point depending on whether they were placed first, second or third.
