The sight of Jozy Altidore celebrating a goal won’t make too much sense to Sunderland fans who watched him score once in 42 Premier League appearances.
But in MLS he’s a different man altogether.
The Toronto FC striker racked up goal number 13 for the season and couldn’t resist the opportunity to respond to the Atlanta supporters that had given him stick all game.
But that didn’t go down well with one Atlanta United supporter.
A plastic cup was launched towards the direction of Altidore who, in textbook fashion, attempted to head it back where it came from.
Once a striker, always a striker.
He was joined by Sebastian Giovinco, who made light of the situation and eased his dehydration in one fell swoop.
Fair play to both of them.
While the supporter overstepped the mark by throwing the cup at Altidore it was refreshing to see both players make the most of the situation.
The big question is, what was in the cup?
