Dives are often so contentious.
Man City were awarded a penalty against Burnley after Bernardo Silva was felled in the box by Nick Pope, but there is a hot debate raging about whether he dived or not.
If he is judged to have dived to win the spot kick, Silva could be the first player in the Premier League to fall foul of the new rule allowing for retrospective action on simulation.
Silva got to the ball first and nicked it away from Pope but it looks like there was some contact – let us know what you think in the comments.
Sergio Aguero stepped up to slot home the resulting penalty on his return from injury.
Carlisle’s Shaun Miller became the first player in England to be banned for diving, facing two games on the sidelines.
Watford’s Richarlison and Newcastle midfielder Mikel Merino have both been cleared by an FA panel already this season.
But Silva could be in hot water after he went over theatrically in the Burnley box.
It’s a toughie as it looks like there was some contact from the Burnley goal keeper.
We’ll let you decide…
