Cesc Fabregas has a rather odd relationship with the stewards of Stamford Bridge.
Remember when an Arsenal-supporting Chelsea steward called the World-Cup winner a ‘snake’ following his arrival in west London?
Earlier today, Fabregas got his long-awaited revenge on the Chelsea stewards in the aftermath of the Blues’ opening goal at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro broke the deadlock in the early kick-off against Watford with a beautiful curling effort from 25 yards and as his team-mates celebrated with him in the corner, Fabregas appeared to deliberately smack a nearby steward twice in the back of the head.
Take a look for yourself…
Bit weird but then again, adrenaline does funny things to the human body.
And to be fair, he gave Pedro a similar slap just before so perhaps that’s just how he celebrates goals of such majesty.
The steward appeared to be laughing during the incident so hopefully there was no harm done.
