Manchester City kept up their spectacular recent form by beating Napoli on Tuesday night.
The Italians came to Manchester with the only perfect record in Europe’s top five leagues so far this season.
But they were swept aside in the first 15 minutes as Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus put City 2-0 up.
Despite Pep Guardiola’s side’s dominance they were left clinging on at the end a bit after Amadou Diawara’s penalty halved the deficit.
Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva have been irresistible in recent weeks but City’s creative duo were involved in a bizarre incident just after the half time whistle.
As the players walked off towards the changing rooms, De Bruyne clearly wasn’t happy about something and Silva, as captain, intervened.
The fiery Belgian then appears to take his anger out on his team-mate and shout ‘Let me talk!’ as he’s restrained:
De Bruyne then sulks off down the tunnel like a spoilt teenager.
Silva, it has to be said, remained the cool, calm and composed figure he always is despite the strange scenario.
De Bruyne produced another brilliant assist for Jesus’ goal, but this behaviour might raise a few question marks for Guardiola to address.
