Sport claim Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez and chief scout Urbano Ortega were in attendance at the BayArena on Sunday for the 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg.
All three featured for Lervkusen in the draw as the Catalan giants looks to freshen up their squad with an injection of youthful talent.
