CRISTIANO RONALDO allegedly wants to quit Real Madrid and is in the process of looking for a new club.
Following a summer of speculation, journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that the 32-year-old’s time at the Bernabeu coming to an end.
Summer rumours suggested that the Portuguese ace was unhappy in Spain because of ongoing tax allegations.
And Castles claims that his mindset has not changed, despite deciding to stay put with the Spanish giants.
When questioned about Chelsea’s Eden Hazard’s potential switch to Spain on The Transfer Window Podcast, he said: “You’ve got to take into account the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave.
“That situation hasn’t changed. He’s looking to find a club that will take him.
“And if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves then 1) Real Madrid have a lot of extra money to spend.
“2) They have a hole in the squad that someone like Eden Hazard or Kevin De Bruyne could fill.

“It will be that category of talent.
“It’s a potential next world superstar that they will go for.”
Ronaldo would leave a huge void in the La Liga after establishing himself as one of the world’s top talents following a switch from Manchester United in 2009.
The four-time Ballon d’Or winner has reportedly demanded a wage increase at Madrid, which will see him earn the same as Barcelona ace Lionel Messi.
Reports suggest that Zinedine Zidane’s side are unwilling to match this whopping figure, but his former club would be.
