Leroy Sane is officially quicker than a T-Rex.
The Man City star clocked up the fastest speed of any player since Premier League records began against Chelsea on Saturday.
Sane’s top speed of 22.05mph at Stamford Bridge makes him the quickest in the top flight in recent history.
That makes the 21-year-old German faster than a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a brown bear and a roadrunner.
Our graphics department were bored so here’s how he compares to some other species…
Earlier this season, best buds Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku were clocked as the two speediest players in the league for the new campaign.
However, Sane’s pace during his side’s impressive 1-0 win will be tough to top.
The Etihad giants put in a disciplined display to take three points off one of their title rivals — even without injured Sergio Aguero.
Despite featuring largely as a substitute for the first few games of the season, Sane has five goals from ten games.
