Barcelona’s routine 3-0 win against Las Palmas was anything but, err… routine.
The game was played behind closed doors after clashes across the city over Catalonia’s independence vote.
The sight of two teams playing in an empty 75,000-seater was eerie to say the least, but when the football got under way it was business as usual for Barcelona.
Sergio Busquets opened the scoring before two goals from Lionel Messi put the game out of sight.
However one man wasn’t happy.
Luis Suarez’s tricky start to the season continued as he failed to score for a sixth time in eight games in all competitions.
One moment in particular caught the eye.
Messi played Suarez in with a beautifully weighted pass, only for the striker to inexplicably shoot wide with just the goalkeeper to beat.
Cue Hulk mode.
Suarez’s reaction was to rip his shirt in half and leave the pitch despite still having a minute left to play.
Proof that, even when they win, strikers are only ever happy when they score.
Reports in Spain claim that Suarez could soon be axed, with Ernesto Valverde unhappy with the striker’s weight.
Maybe he’s just taken being greedy for goals too literally.
