Football fans are never happy.
Arsenal eased past Brighton 2-0 thanks to goals from
Peter Crouch Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi.
But a selection of Arsenal fans weren’t happy with the performance from one of Arsene Wenger’s players.
Nope, not Alexis Sanchez, who put his desire to leave the Emirates aside and helped set up Iwobi’s goal with a stunning assist.
The man in question was Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international played the entire game but was the focus of criticism from some fans.
Ramsey has played eight times for club and country this season.
His only goal came in the opening game of Arsenal’s campaign when they beat Leicester 4-3.
The 26-year-old has also registered one assist from a deeper lying midfield role than he’s previously played for Arsenal.
Despite the criticism Ramsey’s partnership with Granit Xhaka has been one of the most consistent parts of a typically unstable Arsenal season.
His performance against Chelsea in particular was one of the best individual displays from an Arsenal player in the current campaign.
Luckily we don’t think Ramsey or Wenger will be paying much attention to the negative comments on social media.
