Gunners’ fans have taken to Twitter to express their sheer hope that the now-jobless Italian could replace Arsene Wenger as the club’s next manager.

It’s no secret that a large majority of Arsenal fans are desperate to see the back of Wenger, with Ancelotti considered a perfect fit at the North London side.

The the 58-year-old has often expressed his desire to return to the Premier League, where he won the domestic double during his first season at Chelsea.

Indeed, he’s enjoyed success at every club he’s managed in recent years, which includes Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

Wenger, meanwhile, has been on the receiving end of multiple protests from Arsenal fans in recent seasons, with the latest coming in their home game against West Brom on Monday.
