You’ll definitely guess which PSG player was last to celebrate Edinson Cavani’s wonderstrike

The Ligue 1 leaders stormed out of the blocks against Carlo Ancelotti's troops but all eyes were on PSG's two biggest stars

It’s the biggest talking point in European football right now…

Awkward…

PSG’s two biggest goal threats have been at loggerheads ever since they argued over set pieces during the Ligue 1 side’s 2-0 win over Lyon.

The Brazilian superstar did not feature at the weekend at PSG drew 0-0 with Montpellier as he had a slight foot injury but he returned tonight for a Champions League mega clash.

Bayern Munich were the visitors to the Parc de Princes and they were welcomed with first-half goals from Dani Alves and Cavani.

The Uruguayan forward doubled PSG’s lead with a beautiful sweeping finish from just outside the box.

The big question is, did Neymar celebrate his team-mate’s strike?

Yes… eventually.

He initially took a couple of steps in Cavani’s direction before turning to celebrate with assist-provider Kylian Mbappe instead.

One by one, PSG’s players congratulated their goalscorer… with Neymar waiting until the end before giving Cavani a quick head rub.

The Brazilian superstar lingered noticeably far away from the celebrations before that, preferring instead to high-five his other team-mates.

Compare that to Neymar’s celebration of Alves’ goal

Compare that to Neymar’s celebration of Alves’ goal

No dramatic show of unity then but we shouldn’t read too much into the situation.

Plus, a head rub will more than suffice in combination with a win over Bayern.
