Most of our bets are usually in tatters after 20 minutes.
But not this lad.
Shrewd punter Chris Prior took Sky Bet for a gentlemanly £400 when his triple first goalscorer bet came in midway through the first half of the 3 o’clock kick-offs.
Using the increasingly popular request-a-bet mechanism, Mr Prior got odds of 80/1 on Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and Pierre-Michel Lasogga all to score first their respective games.
The first third was taken care of after just 83 seconds when Morata opened the scoring at Stoke to put Chelsea 1-0 up.
11 minutes later Championship toppers Leeds took the lead at Elland Road against Ipswich courtesy of German No9 Lasogga.
Which meant when Lukaku fired home from close range away at Southampton after 20minutes, party time was underway in the Prior household.
This sort of bookie-bashing deserves to celebrated.
Well played, Chris, drinks on you, mate…
