Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang has revealed he never took a move to the ‘unprofessional’ Chinese Super League seriously this summer.
The Gabon international, 28, was linked with a move away from the Bundesliga during the last transfer window with a host of clubs interested.
As well as European giants including Manchester City, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, a number of teams from China were hot on Aubameyang’s tail.

With big names including Carlos Tevez, Oscar and Paulinho upping sticks and heading to the Chinese Super League in mega-money deals, many thought the Dortmund ace could be next.
However, Aubameyang called the talks a “disaster” as he claims he never even remotely took discussions seriously.
The striker said: “China, I didn’t take it seriously, it was a lack of professionalism.
“They delayed to send us a written offer, it was a disaster.”
While speculation surrounding Aubameyang’s future was rife, the man himself never let the rumours get to him.
So far in 2017-18, the Gabon ace has scored nine goals in just eight games in all competitions for Dortmund, including a hat-trick in the cup clash away to Rielasingen-A.
