Man United are trying to get in on the act by snapping up a Brazilian international for absolutely nothing. Nada. Rien.
Santos midfielder Lucas Lima’s contract is expiring on 31 December and, according to his agent, United are one of the several clubs trying to sign him.

Luccas Badia told Haberturk: “Inter, Roma and Barcelona are keeping close tabs on Lucas, Man United also want him.
“I think we would be well suited to the Serie A, but we will see.
“His contract ends on 31 December and there are many clubs interested but I am not sure what Santos is trying to do.”
Lima joined Santos from Internacional in 2014 and was handed the iconic no.10 shirt in August 2016 following Gabriel Barbosa’s move to Inter Milan.
He’s played 14 times for the Brazilian national side although he wasn’t included in Tite’s latest squad.
If Lima was to join United he’d be the seventh Brazilian to play at Old Trafford. Can you name the previous six?

Kleberson was the first Brazilian through the door, in 2003, followed four years later by Anderson.
Rodrigo Possebon was next, then came the Da Silva twins- Rafael and Fabio- with Andreas Pereira the last man standing.
No pressure then. No, really, no pressure.
