Where’s Eden Hazard?
That’s what Chelsea fans (and several thousand Dream Team fantasy football managers) are asking this lunchtime.
Antonio Conte’s starting line-up for Chelsea’s crunch Premier League game against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge has got tongues wagging.
Hazard was expected to start having made substitute appearances against Leicester and Qarabag in the Champions League following injury troubles over the summer.
However, the Belgian superstar only makes the bench with Willian, Pedro and Alvaro Morata making up the front three.
Elsewhere, new signings Gary Cahill, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Davide Zappacosta join Hazard on the bench with Gary Cahill, Cesc Fabregas and Victor Moses preferred for the London derby.
As for Arsenal, Sead Kolsinac starts after his heroics against Cologne in the Europa League but there’s no place for Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean superstar starts on the bench while Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi start behind Alexandre Lacazette.
Just like Hazard, it seems Sanchez is not fully match it despite his showing in Europe midweek.
The game’s two best players both start on the bench… interesting.
