REVEALED: The real reason Neymar didn’t give his shirt to Celtic teen Anthony Ralston

The Paris Saint-Germain star had already agreed to donate his shirt to the Martina Dalglish Appeal before match

There’s always two, or three, sides to a story.

Neymar, the world’s most expensive footballer, received a bit of stick on Wednesday after appearing to refuse to swap his shirt with Celtic teen Anthony Ralston.

Ralston had laughed in the Paris Saint-Germain star’s face earlier in the match, to which Neymar didn’t appear to react all to well to.

So when it came to handshakes and shirt swaps after the game, the Brazilian didn’t seem too keen on swapping with the 18-year-old Celtic defender.

However, the real reason behind Neymar not swapping shirts is that he’d already agreed to donate it to the Marina Dalglish Appeal.

The charity, which has been set up by Kenny Dalglish’s family, helps those diagnosed with breast cancer.

Neymar’s shirt will be used to raise money at an upcoming event.

Ralston and the Brazilian superstar were involved in various heated confrontations throughout the night — with the Celtic ace laughing in his opponent’s face at one point.

And, Neymar appeared to snub his opponent when offered with a handshake at full-time.

PSG were clear and deserved winners at Celtic Park, with their sensational front trio all on target.

Neymar opened the scoring before Kylian Mbappe added a second.

Edinson Cavani made it three from the penalty spot, and later netted a stunning header, while Celtic’s Mikael Lustig also scored an own goal.
