Borussia Dortmund have secured the services of England youth international Denzeil Boadu.
The 20-year-old is following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho, who completed a £9million move to BVB earlier this summer.
Boadu will now proudly sport the number 30 shirt for Dortmund’s under-23 side. He officially completed the deal on 30 August.
Boadu’s England international team-mate Sancho completed a switch to Germany last month following a summer of uncertainty.
Sancho turned down a whopping £30,000-a-week offer from Pep Guardiola to pursue first-team football abroad.
After falling out of favour at Manchester City, the f0rmer Arsenal ace will now face fresh challenges in the Bundesliga.
Despite an injury-hit campaign with the Citizens, Boadu quickly progressed through the ranks of the academy and asserted himself as one of the game’s most exciting young prospects.
The England international recently overcame a career threatening injury after fearing he would never walk again.
Following a catalogue of surgeries and a daily cocktail of antibiotics, the youngster managed to push through the injury and return to match fitness after 20 months out of action.
The 20-year-old admitted that the injury has had a profound impact on him.
BVB posted a player profile of the youngster onto their club website following his switch.
Boadu is renowned for his exquisite passing ability and his relentless work rate.
