Atlas can’t stay out of the news at the moment.
Firstly they signed Ravel Morrison, much to the surprise of everybody back in Blighty.
Then Morrison’s first game in Mexico was postponed for one of the most bizarre reasons we’ve ever seen.
Atlas hosted Tigres, who count Andre-Pierre Gignac among their ranks, in one of Liga MX’s biggest games.
But the game couldn’t go ahead because the newly installed TV screen at the stadium was too low.
You had one job…
Atlas were forced to put out a statement, saying: “Our game against Tigres has been suspended.
“We’ll give out more information about the rescheduling of the game soon.”
The game will now be played during the November FIFA international window, although both squads are likely to be hit by players going off to link up with their nations.
Good work lads.
