It’s always an exciting time when your team releases a new kit.
But there’s always the age-old dilemma of whose name to get on the back.
With more and more players opting to move on from club-to-club with regularity, it’s always something of a gamble.
But a new signing is a good option, given that the player is less likely to move on soon.
That certainly appears to be the case this summer, based on shirt sales from Sports Direct.
Manchester United new-boy Romelu Lukaku for instance has seen his jersey reach No2 in the sales chart, only behind team-mate Paul Pogba.
In fact, Jose Mourinho’s men utterly dominate the list, with Marcus Rashford a surprise inclusion at No5.
Coming in at No4, behind Chelsea star Eden Hazard, is Arsenal’s biggest summer signing – Alexandre Lacazette.
Other big selling jerseys include Harry Kane, Sadio Mane, Lionel Messi and Philippe Coutinho.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will return to United after recovering from injury, completes the top ten.
A host of Newcastle stars, including Matt Ritchie and Dwight Gayle also made the list – as do European superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.
