Eden Hazard shares first ever boot at unveiling of limited-edition Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor

Eden Hazard revealed the Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor and reminisced about some of the boots he's worn throughout his career

Eden Hazard hasn’t stepped foot on the pitch for Chelsea yet but Nike have ensured that when he does he’ll be looking his best.

The 26-year-old unveiled the Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor that he’ll be wearing upon his Chelsea return.

Want to see them? Of course you do.

Yep, that’ll do nicely

Only 2,500 pairs will be available in a triple black colourway, while a further 1,500 will be for sale in a black and gold colourway, so you’ll have to move quickly if you want to get your hands on them.

Hazard is clearly impressed, explaining: “I said ‘Wow!’ because I think they look great and they are perfect for my style of football. I think these boots are special.”

Who are we to argue?

But Hazard wasn’t only looking forward when it comes to his footwear collection.

The Belgian winger shared some of his favourite boots he’s worn during his career, including the first pair of Vapors he ever owned.

Talking about the Mercurial R9, Hazard said: “From that day, I started playing with them on the pitches in my neighborhood and in my club, Braine-le-Comte.

“Before that, I didn’t have football boots. And since then, more or less, I have been wearing Mercurial.”

Nostalgia at it’s finest

Our first ever pair of boots were some hand-me-down Sondico, so Hazard’s got one up on us there.

But it’s not the boot, it’s the feet inside that count.

In fairness, Hazard has us there as well. As you were.
