Have you ever been at a football match and thought about what it would be like to run onto the pitch?
(You shouldn’t, because it’s highly illegal and will probably see you banned from football for life).
Well last night, during Malta v England, that’s exactly where Jake Peachey found himself.
During the game Jake decided it was time to spice things up.
He took to social media and asked for 400 retweets to run onto the pitch at the National Stadium in Malta.
Lo and behold, he got 463 retweets (and counting) so hopped onto the pitch before being swiftly removed.
But was it worth it?
In a follow up tweet Jake revealed that he was handed a €200 fine, had to spend the night in a cell and was given a year ban from entering Malta.
Better find somewhere else to go on your summer holidays next year, Jake.
