Chelsea have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £40m for Arsenal’s wantaway star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to reports.
The 24-year-old – who has just a year left on his contract at the Emirates – recently turned down a new deal in the region of £180,000-a-week.

According to Sky Sports, the England international is poised to link up with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge after a fee has been agreed.
He is believed to want to leave the FA Cup holders as they refuse to play him in central midfield or on the wings.
Since the back end of last season, Arsene Wenger has elected to play Chamberlain as a wing-back – a role that he has been less than convincing in during recent matches.
Oxlade-Chamberlain started there in Sunday’s disastrous 4-0 defeat at Liverpool and looked dejected when he was substituted on the hour mark.
The Reds were also interested in the midfielder but have seemingly instead turned their attentions to Arsenal target Thomas Lemar.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s departure is set to spark a mass exodus from Arsenal this week, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Shkodran Mustafi also heavily linked with moves away.
