It’s fair to say West Ham haven’t had the best of starts to the Premier League season.
Rooted to the bottom of the table after three defeats and with a goal difference of -8, the Hammers had yet to hit their stride, despite a few decent signings in the transfer window.
And when you’re in a sticky spot, you need your senior pros to step up and provide the encouragement.
So that’s exactly what Joe Hart did after young defender Declan Rice made an error in the build-up to Newcastle forward Joselu’s opener in the Magpies 3-0 victory on Saturday.
Check out Rice’s error in giving possession away cheaply in his own half at the 0:28 second mark below.
It wasn't Rice's fine hour, and the 18-year-old immediately dropped to the ground when Joselu poked in from close range.
⚽Liverpool v Arsenal betting tip: Liverpool to win, 11/10⚽
LIVERPOOL always save their best for the top six.
In a mini league with Spurs, Arsenal, Man United, Man City and Chelsea, Liverpool picked up the most points last term - double that of Arsenal. This game will suit Jurgen Klopp and 11/10 for a home win is far too good to resist.

However, it was Hart's response to the youngster's error that saw the England stopper gain praise.
The experience stopper immediately went over to Rice as he made his way back to line-up for kick-off and offered him words of encouragement and consolation after the mistake.
It was a classy touch from a player who has made his fair share of errors in his career, but has maintained a expert level of performance the rest of the time.
Unfortunately for the Hammers things didn't get much better as they conceded goals from Ciaran Clark and Aleksander Mitrovic to fall to a 3-0 defeat.
But special praise was reserved for Hart from West Ham fans for showing his encouraging side to the young lad.
Well played, Joe Hart.
