Bayern Munich legend Philipp Lahm is considering a stunning return to football after receiving two offers to come out of retirement.
The German World Cup-winning captain shocked the game when he called time on his career at the end of last season despite being just 33-years-old.
But reports in Bild claim the legendary full-back might be about to make a sensational comeback.
And although he has previously been adamant that he would not be tempted back onto the pitch, he has a number of offers to choose from.
Bundesliga side Hamburg have offered him the chance to pull on the boots once again.
And second tier outfit St Pauli have also contacted Lahm with a written offer.
Both clubs are willing to hand him a one-year deal with the option of a further year – and the ex-star has yet to reject either offer.
Lahm, who won eight Bundesliga titles, six German Cups and the Champions League at Bayern, was awarded the Star of the Year at this week’s Sport Bild Awards.
