Anthony Martial’s early career hasn’t quite panned out as he would have hoped.
The talented Frenchman was signed by Manchester United two summers ago as the hottest teenage prospect on the planet.

He remains a firm fan favourite but Martial has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United since Jose Mourinho succeeded Louis Van Gaal over a year ago.
The likes of Henrik Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford have all been preferred to him in the last 12 months.
But while he’s struggling for first-team action, United seemingly appear adamant he’s not leaving Old Trafford.
That’s because, according to credible reports in France, they’ve rejected an ambitious bid from Tottenham for his services.
RMC Sport believe Spurs made the approach this week but it was categorically knocked back – as was a loan offer from Inter Milan too.
Tottenham are still yet to make a single signing this summer and restlessness in the camp became apparent this week when Danny Rose expressed his annoyance at the club’s comparatively strict wage bill.
Rose, who has seen team-mate Kyle Walker leave for Manchester City in a £50m deal this summer, has urged the club to add quality new players to avoid falling behind their title rivals.
Martial, should it materialise, would certainly fall into that bracket…
