DREAM TEAM POINTS: Watford 3 Liverpool 3

Mohamed Salah made his Premier League debut for Liverpool and received mixed reviews

Part of the fun on the first weekend of the Premier League season is seeing how new signings get on.

Sure, you might have scored four goals against Sturm Graz’s under-19s, but how do you perform when it really matters?

One such player under the spotlight for Liverpol was Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian, who spent two years on Chelsea’s books, signed from Roma for an initial £34million and had the chance to impress against Watford.

He was influential in Liverpool’s attack, winning a penalty, which was converted by Roberto Firmino, and tapping home his first official goal.

Plenty of Liverpool fans were impressed…

But not everyone was convinced.

A goal and assist on his debut and people still aren’t having it? A tough crowd.

But what did Dream Team make of him?
