Manchester City have revealed their new away kit for the 2017/18 season.
And before you say anything, we already know – yes, it does look like your local bishop is about to have a kickaround at the Etihad.
While the maroon kit is more familiar at a communion altar than on a football pitch, pretty much the only thing that it’s missing is a dog collar and a staff.
We’re sure you’d agree, you can barely tell the difference between this Anglican bishop and Man City winger Leroy Sane.
In all seriousness though, City’s new away kit is actually very nice, and the Nike kit will be worn tomorrow as City continue their pre-season tour of the USA.
Here’s a few more pictures of the kit, with zero bishops in sight.
Looking good, City.
Still, it’s a shame they lost out to the Church of England with their derisory £40million bid for the stalwart centre-back Justin Welby a couple of years ago.
Here’s the centre-back rock Dat Guy Welbz in action, if you don’t believe us.
OK, we’ll stop now.
